US stock exchanges started the week with 1-2% growth

The leading US indices on Monday showed growth, despite investors' concerns about a renewed coronavirus outbreak. At the closing Dow Jones added 2.32%, S&P 500 - 1.47%, NASDAQ - 1.2%. The supportive factor is the players' hopes that central banks will continue to pursue a soft monetary policy. Quarantine measures were reintroduced in three American states due to a new surge of infections. At the same time, the stock indices are expected to end June with growth - for NASDAQ it will be 4%, for the other two - less than 1%. According to the head of Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management Philip Blancato, cited by the agency "Prime", now the stock exchanges have an unprecedented level of optimism. This positive mood is supported by the actions of central banks aimed at supporting the economy - investors are betting on them. However, there is still concern among them, as evidenced by the growth of Cboe volatility index this month.
